World2Fly, the long-distance airline of the W2M Group, has landed for the first time in Cuba with its new Airbus 350-900, where the crew has posed with the flags of Spain and the Caribbean country.

The president of the Iberostar group, Miquel Fluxá, owner of the Spanish airline, was present at the reception of the aircraft. Iberostar has already announced that the opening of all its hotels in Cuba will begin shortly.

The Airbus A350 took off from Madrid for the Caribbean island on September 22 at 2:45 p.m. The plane landed at the José Martí airport in Havana at 6:15 p.m. (local time) after a nine-hour flight.

On the occasion of the inauguration of this new route, the company has launched a campaign of special ticket offers on these flights for €250 each way with suitcase included, in addition to advantages such as flexibility in the event of possible date changes, cancellation program and travel insurance. free COVID travel.

World2Fly will operate this route with its new Airbus A350, an aircraft with unique levels of operational efficiency and sustainability, with a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, compared to previous generation twin-aisle aircraft. .

World2Fly's A350-900 features a modern and very comfortable cabin layout with 432 seats.

In this way, World2Fly completes its initial long-haul routes from Madrid to Caribbean destinations: Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Cancun (Mexico) and Havana (Cuba).
