BlaBlaCar, the world's leading shared ride platform, has announced the appointment of Víctor Méndez as Vice President of International Platform Engineering. Méndez, a native of Madrid, has a professional career of more than 20 years in the engineering and computer science sector, 12 of them in leadership positions. He has a degree in Telecommunications and specialized in Business Administration from the Carlos III University of Madrid.

As Vice President of Platform Engineering at BlaBlaCar, he will be in charge of modernizing the security, communications or payments of the platform and leading the technological change towards the multimodal mobility experience and will report to Olivier Bonnet, Chief Technology Officer (CTO). by BlaBlaCar.​

Before joining the company, Méndez held various management positions in the engineering and technology departments of major multinational companies, leading and coordinating different work teams and building high-performance agile organizations.
