For some years now, Zacatecas has shown a special interest in bringing scientific and technological knowledge closer to the population. Based on this purpose, he announced the workshops and benefits that will be available at the Zigzag Interactive Science and Technology Center during the winter.

The Zacatecan Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (Cozcyt), explained that the Zigzag educational program was designed in such a way that there will be special activities to increase scientific, technological and creative skills. One of the advantages of the workshops is that they are suitable for children, adolescents and young people who love knowledge.

In addition to the academic program, every Thursday in December, in the morning, the Zigzag will have free admission for girls and boys up to 12 years old. Related to the above, until February 27 there will be 2×1 tickets for those who carry the “Zigzag your Christmas” coupon, which can be obtained at the end of the homonymous workshop challenge.

The objective of this space is to promote creativity and maker skills. Participants will be able to make decorations for the Christmas tree with shapes and processes that they never imagined. In this way, the Mexican traditions around the December festivities will be preserved.

El Zigzag has been in charge of generating a photographic set that entire families and groups of friends can attend to celebrate these dates in the happiest way. The space is so free that it allows attendees to photograph themselves with their own cameras or cell phones.

In the Maker Space, the “Create your doll” carpentry course will be available for girls and boys over 10 years of age. Within this they will be trained to use handsaws, saws and sandpaper to shape pieces of wood.
