A San Francisco start-up called Zephyr has launched a revolutionary configuration for the interior of airplanes in which the seats are distributed on two floors and also allow you to lie down on a diagonal of two meters.
The designers ensure that these seats can be dedicated to premium-economy cabins while maintaining the same current number of seats, thus hoping to convince customers of long-haul flights in particular.
This configuration would therefore allow more passengers to afford to fly long-distance lying down at a better price than currently, which could increase the demand for this type of journey of more hours by plane.
