The coronavirus continues to spread at a record rate in Catalonia, which is already close to 250,000 weekly cases, but those admitted to ICUs fall below the 500 barrier, while slightly loosening the pressure in still saturated outpatient clinics.

According to the data updated this Wednesday by the Department of Health, there are 2,862 people admitted for COVID in Catalan hospitals -24 more than this Tuesday-, of which 495 -18 fewer- are seriously ill in the ICU.

Primary care centers are still saturated, with 65,550 COVID visits this Tuesday, although they are 16,000 less than the same day last week.
