Emirates Premium customers have access to the Grand Lounge Elite at Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City, so I decided to take advantage of it to wait for my flight. I must confess that it is a bit hidden but as a tip, you find it in room number 19. There I was able to enjoy some food, drinks, comfortable armchairs and a relaxed atmosphere until it was time for my flight.

Then it was time to leave. Everything was very organized and when I entered the plane WOW! what transportation madness. Lots of seats, each with its own partitions to make it a little more private, and extremely friendly flight staff. Already in my seat I began to explore. It has so many things! I preferred to relax a bit because I had a 19-hour flight to my destination: Dubai. You will also find a tablet and a video game control that you can remove and control the screen in front of you. This is my favorite part so I'm back to it now. I want to tell you that after the buttons, at the top, you will find the hidden table where you will be served food, later on a base for cups or glasses and below a minibar with soft drinks and water. At the front is the screen and below it a couple of bottles of water, comfortable socks and an eye mask to rest.

You can also see two extraordinary cameras: one in the belly of the plane and one in the front, so you can explore the places where you are through the cameras. (Or see the outside if you don't have a window, like me). I used it to see the landing and take off.

When I traveled to Dubai, the Dubai Expo 2020 was there, so I could also find information here as well as about Emirates, and Dubai as a tourist destination.

The communication part is the one I used the least. In it you will find the Wi-Fi that you can use on the flight for an extra cost. It is a great option for those who need to work. Also here you will see options such as passenger surveys to improve service, satellite phone and others.

And I'm sure it's the favorite of most Emirates users. In the Entertainment section you will find movies, TV shows, podcasts or audiobooks, music and games. Everything you need to not get bored on your flight. In the music part I was impressed to see that you can find productions from all countries. There were playlists from Sweden, Spain, Poland, Greece and many more.

Now we come to the food part. I want to tell you that I am impressed with how good it tastes. I'm not really being exaggerated although it may seem, the menus are incredibly well selected so that lunchtime is also a spectacular experience. In advance, they ask you what you want to eat. It is a three-course menu with dessert included. All meals are accompanied with bread, butter, salt, olive oil with balsamic, pepper and drinks, whatever you want.

I noticed that from CDMX to Barcelona there are some Mexican-Spanish foods but from Barcelona to Dubai the menu incorporated Arab ingredients.

Before the dishes you ordered, they come to offer you a drink and a plate with hot nuts. A great and delicious detail. I will not tell you all the menus because they also say that they change constantly, which seems excellent to me, but from CDMX to Barcelona I had dinner and I had to choose between corn cream, quinoa tacos with black beans and seafood aguachile in the first half. . Grilled chicken with lemon and herbs, grilled beef steak or fish with coconut as a second course (any dish is served with salad). And for dessert, he had to choose between a tres leches cake, seasonal fruit or a cheese board. What would you have chosen?

In this menu I chose the quinoa taco with black beans, the grilled chicken with lemon and herbs and the cheese board that I accompanied with red wine. WOW. My first meal was a wonderful experience because they say that the atmosphere of the cabin affects our sense of smell and, consequently, our sense of taste, but definitely with these dishes it seemed that I was on land because they tasted spectacular and no, I'm not exaggerating .

It's a lot of food, a lot, and if you're still a little hungry they offer a bar with some sandwiches, fruit or seeds that you can eat.
