This November 19 is celebrated the Day of the Entrepreneurial Woman with the aim of raising leadership and female empowerment in business, which for a long time was not allowed.
The International Day of Women Entrepreneurs was created in 2014 by the Council of the United Nations (UN) to recognize the effort and courage of women who run shops, offices, or some other asset.
And it is that women entrepreneurs not only seek to benefit themselves, but also provide work and help society economically. Thanks to them, many families can support their homes.
The initiative for this day was proposed by the American businesswoman Wendy Diamond, who is a well-known writer in the United States, as well as an important figure on American television.
This Day of the Entrepreneurial Woman also has the objective of ending gender inequalities, which are still very latent today. That is why, little by little, it is about making visible the work that women do at work.
Social inequalities do not refer only to the lack of recognition of women and their ability in a business, but also to unbalanced pay, since despite the fact that both men and women do the same work, the salary is different in many places.
