The Almería Marketing Club wanted to applaud and recognize some of the most outstanding work carried out in the field of marketing during a complex year still marked by COVID-19. For this reason, the entity organized an evening marked by the first 'Almería Marketing Awards 2020-2021' that took place last Friday, November 26 at La Pajarería.

Wrapped in a spectacular, groundbreaking and creative atmosphere, the room was transformed into a boxing ring worthy of the best fights in history. The evening was led, brilliantly during all its assaults, by the journalist and treasurer of the Almería Marketing Club, David Baños. Who invited each winner to collect his award as a boxer in his most rewarding days of training.

During the pandemic, the members of the Marketing Club have tried to adapt to the situation and not abandon their activity and now they want to return to normality with events like this one, which became a meeting point for associates, sponsors and winners.

Despite the difficulties, the Marketing Club wanted to highlight with this gala the reaction capacity of companies , their ability to identify problems and generate a collective response, and the ability to stand out with quality in times of crisis. In short, it was a night in which not even the smallest detail was lacking: dinner, refreshments, music and dancing for an event in which the club's dressing gown and gloves formed the nice and symbolic award received by the winners.

Awarded

The Marketing Club of Almería delivered the awards in eight categories. Silestone by Cosentino brand received the award in the category 'Best communication action'; Torrecárdenas Shopping Center was recognized in the 'Best Brand Experience' category; Almócita City Council won the award in the category of 'Best Digital Marketing Action'; APROA , for the development of the CUTE and Cute Solar promotional programs, was recognized in the 'Best Product' category; in the category 'Best commercial action' Sabores Almería was the entity that received the award; Enrique de los Ríos , CEO of UNICA Group, received the award for 'Best Marketing Professional'; in the 'Best CSR marketing action' category, Hospital Universitario Torrecárdenas was recognized; and, finally, the Verdi Blanca Foundation won the award in the category of 'Best HR Marketing Action'.

It was a magical night that served not only to recognize different companies and entrepreneurs in the province, but also to re-experience that feeling of reunion that the pandemic snatched away and that will take place in a unique environment.

On May 31, 2019, the association was established whose main purposes are the following, among many others: the association aims to promote the promotion of marketing as a specific and necessary part of any business activity, public or private management. Promoting and disseminating business culture and, specifically, knowledge of marketing among all professionals in the business world who demand ethical and moral principles regarding good business practices today.
