Amazon's human resources expert, DJ Cabeen, told CNBC's Make it program that what he hates most in an interview is when candidates use inappropriate or vulgar language during the conversation.
"It doesn't work, it's not professional at all," he says.

Cabeen explains that it is not a mistake that only occurs in interviews with young people but, in his more than 10 years of experience, people who have gone too far with confidence using vulgar language have ranged from the most inexperienced candidates even the most experienced adults.

Another common mistake that he points out is that it is noticed when a candidate has not prepared for the interview and has not even searched for information about the company or the functions he is going to perform.

Cabeen recommends that people interested in working for Amazon study the company's leadership principles, as managers use them to assess candidates during the interview process.

During the interview, this can also help you, albeit from a more personal point of view. Find meeting points with your interviewer to feel more comfortable and create a connection between you.
Cabeen assures that it is not only comfortable for the interviewee, but also from the interviewer's point of view, they appreciate this complicity so that the conversation can flow.
