Valladolid, Spain. Capturing the attention of the Education Authorities, several teachers have returned to face-to-face classes in an original way, wearing skirts, this with the intention of promoting diversity in the classroom and pointing out that clothing has nothing to do with it.
The images have gone viral on social networks, where José Piñas uploaded photos to his Twitter account where he goes to the classrooms wearing a dress and this in order for the students to see a good educational prospectus where clothing does not be the important thing
This action has also been joined by other teachers such as Manuel Ortega and Borja Velázquez, who openly went to the institute wearing a skirt, this also in support of one of the students who was homophobically insulted for coming to school with this guy of clothing.
Professor Ortega was clear when commenting on the importance of showing and setting an example to the students that regardless of sexual preference there must be respect and that this is not a reason for ridicule or discrimination.
Another of the teachers who also caught the eye was Manuel Sánchez, who came to the classroom wearing pink pants and to his surprise was that several students questioned him right there and told him that 'that color was for a girl'.
At that moment, the teacher responded and assured that 'the colors do not belong to anyone', anyone can use any color in their clothing.
“I have received a large number of questions, comments and even compliments from the students. My answers to everyone were natural, making light of it, that they should see that I am the same teacher with pants as with a skirt... I am one of those who thinks that this profession is vocational, and I have always been clear about it, better or worse, but I try to do my I work to the best of my ability”, commented Professor Sánchez.
