She agreed to take her ex-husband home and she ended up having what was probably the worst night of her life. This has been proven in a sentence that considers the complaint made in March 2020, on the eve of confinement, by a victim who assured that the one who had been her partner for years had locked her up in her house in the town of Os Blancos. and then he had subjected her to beatings throughout the night, preventing her from leaving the house. It was not until hours later, already during the day, that the victim was able to retrieve her cell phone and order a taxi. When the professional arrived, the defendant did not let the victim get into the car, crossing a tractor to prevent vehicles from leaving the area.
A whole odyssey for which Juan Antonio LB has now been sentenced to two and a half years in prison, as responsible for a crime of injury and another of coercion. For the magistrate in charge of hearing this case, there is no doubt that the victim's statement is true, since she also considers that it is corroborated by the injury report that was made at the medical center where the victim was treated after being released. . The resolution, against which it is possible to file an appeal, also considers the cruelty with which the aggressor acted proven, who after asking his ex-wife to enter the house with the excuse of inviting her to "have a drink", ended up subjecting her to kicks and punches all over her body, hitting her with a fire extinguisher, placing a chair on her body and putting a shoe in her mouth. "The victim's statement is consistent, without implausible elements being appreciated in it," says the gown, which also takes into account that the injuries presented by the injured party were "compatible" with the events she said she had suffered.
The defense's allegations have been of little use, regarding the fact that the accused said that her ex-wife "was drunk", and that for this reason he recommended that she stay in her house, denying having held her against her will. The magistrate does not see this argument as credible and condemns the aggressor, who must also stay away from the complainant and cannot speak to her for five years. It is also planned that he will compensate her with 2,900 euros for injuries and moral damages. The judge considers the gender aggravating circumstance applicable to the case.
