El diestro Enrique Ponce participó en el festival taurino celebrado el pasado día 2 de mayo en Las Ventas con la efigie de Franco en la botonadura de la chaquetilla y del chaleco del traje corto de color gris que vestía. Los botones eran una imitación de las monedas plateadas de 5, 25 y 50 pesetas de la época de la dictadura, y en ellos se podía ver el retrato del anterior jefe de Estado y la leyenda “Francisco Franco, caudillo de España por la gracia de Dios”.
