The new Dacia model, Jogger, has several attributes, such as price, spaciousness, a large trunk with easy access and a gasoline engine that can use LPG and have the ECO label that brings advantages.
The bodywork is of the family type, also called estate or ranchera, which little by little is permeating in Spain and which, however, in Germany and Italy is preferred over sedans with a separate trunk.
It measures 4.54 meters long by 1.78 wide and 1.63 high. It can accommodate three rows of seats (2+3+2) in which case the trunk is 160 liters, but with five seats it is 506 liters, and since the latter are individual they can be folded down independently. In the passenger compartment there are holes that cube 24 liters.
In the rear, the pilots are vertical to maximize the gate (electric opening) and facilitate loading, while the ground clearance is 20 centimeters, higher than many SUVs, facilitating transit on bad roads. In addition, it has bars on the roof, which can be modular, supporting 80 kilos of weight.
The wheelbase is 2.90 meters, which makes a wide rectangle to improve stability and provide legroom in all three rows.
Its engine is an aluminum engine, lighter weight, three-cylinder, 999 c.c., turbo, intercooler, double overhead camshaft, which supplies 101 CV (in a few months it will be replaced by the 110 CV TCe) both in gasoline as in LPG, in which case it does not have a spare wheel, since the 23-kilo gas tank is housed there, which together with the 50 liters of gasoline give it a range of 1,000 kilometers.
There are three trim levels, the basic Essential (14,990 euros) which includes climate control, a six-speed gearbox, hill start assistance, emergency braking to avoid collisions, fog lights, automatic lighting, radio, Bluetooth, USB , adjustable steering wheel and warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers.
The intermediate Comfort (16,200 euros) adds a 20-centimetre central touch screen, adjustable roof bars, cruise control, rear parking aid, automatic wiper, electric mirrors, electric rear windows and 16-inch wheels.
The top-of-the-range Extreme (17,650 euros) adds automatic climate control, browser, Wi-Fi, blind spot detector, front parking aid, automatic parking brake, center console with armrests, hands-free card, alloy wheels, parking light led crossing and spare wheel, except LPG.
