The Program “Socio-educational care for homeless people and coverage of basic needs for families with dependent minors, in a situation of social vulnerability signed in 2020 with a total budget of €52,752.71, and which the Córdoba City Council financed with €50,000.00, once again has the support of the local administration of Córdoba, financing €50,000.00 of the €59,087.74 of the total amount of 2021.
In 2021, a total of 625 people have benefited from the basic needs coverage service, specifically 174 families have been assisted at the intervention proposal of the Community Social Services, made up of 276 adults and 349 minors.
This program guarantees a healthy diet for all the families served through a weekly distribution of food and hygiene products, as well as covering the needs of clothing and footwear. As significant data, indicate that it also covers clothing and equipment needs for newborn babies.
On the other hand, in 2021 more than 550 homeless people have participated in the actions offered by Prolibertas thanks to the financing of this agreement, which include individualized social attention, promotion and acquisition of socio-educational skills that facilitate successful attempts at socio-labour inclusion.
