Visitors can reach Andy's courtyard and take a seat inside the slinky dog's elastic spirals, enjoy an exciting U-shaped ride at the Rex racer or board pony cars at Woody's Roundup, a segment that is designed exclusively for Shanghai Park.
A Chinese singer will compose seven Mandarin songs dedicated to the new area, among other elements that aim to bring a truly Disney and distinctly Chinese experience.
Disney did not reveal how large the new area will be, although its President Robert Iger revealed during the official opening of Disney Shanghai Park that there were still three square kilometers left for possible expansion.
