Mexico City.- With the intention of prolonging the conservation of their uniforms, the soldiers attached to the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), must buy with their own money, a coloring of the Mariposa brand green overseas 667, which costs around 30pesos, and thus, recover the green tones characteristic of the outfit.

This regulation was released by means of a trade which was disseminated through the Defense website.com, in a journalistic note signed by the reporter Jorge Alejandro Medellín, who accounts for the content of the circular

On May 17, Carlos César Gómez López, General of the Infantry Weapon, sent the trade to the commander of the first military region (I RM), General Juan Arturo Cordero Gómez, to make him know the possible solution to the problemof worn uniforms.

This text indicates that these measures are response to the comprehensive policy of austerity and eradication to corruption, through exercise with honesty and transparency with the resources assigned to the Secretariat of National Defense.

In the trade, the recommendations that soldiers must follow before dyeing the uniform are also mentioned, which are shown below:

• One, verify that the envelope of the product with which the uniform is going to be dyed is of the overseas green butterfly brand 667.

• Two, a complete overseas of the butterfly mariposa brand 667 is dissolved in a container with half liter of boiling water.

• Three, in a second container enough boiling water is placed to complete.

• Four, empty the half liter of boiling water with the dye in the second container.

• Five, wash and dry the uniform.

Once the previous steps are completed, it is indicated that, during the dye of the uniform, the following recommendations should be followed:

• Wet the garment well (which must be clean), and place it inside the coloring container.

• Then move constantly for ten minutes to ensure a dye.

• Subsequently, approximately 45 minutes after having soaked the garment and subsequently rinse it in “current water”, until you stop throwing the colored surplus.

• You must dry the uniform under the shadow, without squeezing it and subsequently ironing it, the indications conclude.

The military command ensures that the option to dye clothes will bring great benefits, because the uniform dyeing procedure will contribute to improving the institutional image, optimizing material resources and raising the morals of soldiers.
