During these times, we all look for a new project to entertain ourselves at home.Many have chosen to cook new recipes, plant food/flowers, clean the closet or garage, remodel the house or organize it better, etc..Among all these homemade projects there is something that we can always take into account: it is about recycling correctly.Many people see recycling as something complex and do not even have the slightest idea of what is 3 rs (reduce, reuse and recycle).In his effort to educate the Latin community in the United States about recycling, Republic Services share some tips to make recycling a new home project with the intention of doing a habit for everyone at home.

3.- Buy and recycle conscientious materials: Did you know that some materials are easier to recycle than others?Aluminum cans, paper, cardboard, plastic, clean and dry bottles are some of the articles to recycle.But plastic bags, batteries, films and wrappers cannot be recycled through residential programs.Buy with a purpose and consider the packaging before buying a product!

4.- Use your own bottle and bags: Change water bottles and plastic bags for reusable options.This is one of the easiest adjustments you can make and you avoid the endless collection of plastic bags in your home.
