Maw of the Night (Night Teeth) is a vampire film directed by Adam Randall. It stars Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Debby Ryan and Lucy Fry.
A movie that is limited to putting some vampires and hoping that we have never seen one before. Surprise: it's not the first vampire movie we've seen and we've seen (much) better.
A substitute chauffeur picks up two attractive women (vampires) who will take him through a night full of danger and discovery.
A production for young people that has good photography... and little else. It's kind of like It Happened One Night (Scorsese's), but with vampires and without much grace or intensity. Very channeled the young audience, with simple profiles of characters, simple plot and no intention of giving us anything new.
An almost youthful movie with an air of techno music that will disappoint those who expect some terror (it is supposed to be, but it gives us rather few scares), with a slow pace that does not appeal to us either due to its narrative complexity.
In short: a product very much for teenagers, a simple proposal whose only attraction seems to be the beautiful protagonist (which she is, we are not going to fool ourselves).
A movie about handsome and rich vampires who dress brand names and are very cool according to the marketing department, vampire gangs, a war in the making... if it had been well run...
And to clarify, we recognize the “funny” of movies like Bladeo Interview with the Vampire, but it is not enough for us to say that this is a vampire and the movie comes out by itself for the simple fact that these guys suck blood. It's not scary anymore and the audience will (most likely) ask for something more.
Maw of the Night tells us a bit "here is the vampire" and forgets to give us a structured story or some plot, character or something else that gets us out of boredom.
For the rest, it contributes little or nothing.
By the way, we liked a Netflix series called Midnight Mass (which is also about vampires and from the same network, we don't have anyone's mania here).
It's not going to revolutionize the genre exactly. It lacks strength on all sides and has more than enough to pay attention to the marketing department and the statistics of target audiences and trends.

Review
Little thing, a vampire movie that tries to take advantage of the pull of the genre without giving us anything.
