Lucifer is an American television series based on the DC Comics character Lucifer Morningstar. The first three seasons of the series on Fox, despite the fact that a priori there was a good audience at its premiere, the rating remained low, which is why it was cancelled. However, Netflix picked up the series from the fourth season, increased the audience and improved the critics. It was renewed for a fifth season of sixteen episodes, the first part premiered in August 2020 and the second in May 2021. At first it was revealed that the fifth would be the last, however, it was renewed for a final season of ten chapters.
