How is the Osaka Barbie doll

The Naomi Osaka Barbie comes with a tennis-themed outfit: the outfit consists of the Nike-branded dress, inspired by her Australian Open 2020 outfit, a Yonex tennis visor and racket. A not minor detail are the shoes, which belong to the same brand as the dress.

The doll also mimics the curly hair of the four-time Grand Slam-winning tennis player. Barbie 's movement is really complex, as she has 22 points of articulation and comes with a display stand.

"Obviously, Naomi's athletic ability is unparalleled, that's a given," the designer explained in a statement. "But what I personally admire most about Naomi Osaka is how she uses her media, the spotlight on her, to raise awareness for social justice," she added.

It is not the first time that the athlete has been immortalized in the form of a Barbie doll. In 2019, she was one of 20 women to get one-of-a-kind dolls as part of Barbie 's "Shero" line. But now the massive line of it came out, so that anyone in the world can acquire it.
